Snap – Police are hoping that a multi-nova picture will help identify the two males in possession of an olive green Sports Wrangler Jeep stolen from a Halls Head driveway.

Overnight between 8.30pm on Sunday the 27th of May and 5.55am on Monday the 28th of May 2012, thieves broke into a Mazda 3 sedan parked outside a home on Seascapes Boulevard and stole a DVD player and Ipod from within.

The owner discovered more than the theft of a few electrical items, with the thieves locating the keys to her partner’s soft top Jeep and driving it from the area.  The reckless driving and high speeds continued with the activation of a multinova camera in Dwellingup along Pinjarra – Williams Road around 8.50am.  The crime spree continued with the vehicle being involved in a fuel drive off in Boddington around 10.00am before it was last seen heading towards Harvey and through the back roads to Collie.

Fourteen days later, the stolen Jeep was found burnt out at the Darkan tip all but stripped of it’s mag wheels, bulbar and spotlights, engine snorkel and rear wheel carrier.

The two offenders are both described as fair skinned and aged in their late 20’s.

Police have released a copy of the multi-nova picture in the hope that someone may be able to assist with the identification of the two males pictured.
