At approximately 6.35pm on Tuesday 17 January 2017, a man entered a liquor store on Altone Road in Beechboro and asked the attendant for bottles of beer. The attendant walked away to get the bottles and the man walked behind the counter and picked up five bottles of bourbon. As the man walked out of the store, he dropped one of the bottles, causing it to smash on the ground which alerted the attendant to the stealing.
The man is described as:
- Dark skinned
- 25-30 years of age
- Medium build
- Wearing a black t-shirt with Carpe printed on the front with a motif, black shorts and black shoes
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
