At approximately 4.05pm on Monday 30 January 2017, a woman entered a service station in Bertram.

The woman walked to the pie warmer and removed two pies, then walked into an aisle before approaching the counter and asking for a slushy.  The woman paid for the slushy with a $50 note, before leaving the store with the change.  The woman did not pay for the pies.  A short time later, the staff member realised that the $50 note was fake.

The woman is described as:

Light skinned, 30-40 years of age, solid build, 155-170cm tall, blonde shoulder length hair, wearing a black long sleeve top, faded blue jeans and carrying a black shoulder bag.

Was seen leaving the service station forecourt in a white Mazda four wheel drive.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
