At approximately 10.20am on Tuesday 10 January 2017, a man approached a bicycle which was secured to a bike rack on Oxford Street Leederville.

The man was seen to remove the front wheel off the bike.  As he was doing so, two men approached him, questioning what he was doing.  The man told them to mind his own business before removing the wheel and producing what was believed to be a knife and waving it at the men in a threatening manner.

The man then walked away.

The man is described as: Light skinned, 25-30 years of age, thin build, approximately 180cm tall, wearing a white hat, white shirt under a dark coloured top, dark shorts and white runners.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
