A teenage girl went to lengthy measures to secure her white “Her Chee” moped at the Rockingham Train Station to prevent theft only to find it missing when she returned to collect it.

Around 2.30pm on Monday the 20th of February 2012, the 17 year old chained her moped, registration 1FL975, near the guard’s office and locked the steering wheel lock to deter “would be thieves”.

Upon return to the station, the teenager was surprised to find her moped had been stolen. 

Police have released an image of two  males captured on CCTV acting suspiciously in close proximity to the moped, who police would like to talk to, to shed some light on the matter.

The first male is described as: 

  • Fair complexion
  • Slim build
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a green t-shirt, black shorts and black runners.

The second male is described as:

  • Fair complexion
  • Medium build
  • Short dark hair
  • Small goatee beard
  • Wearing a checked shirt, dark pants and white runners.
