A male who broke in a locked bike compound at St George’s College took his time to select a $600 mountain bike before riding away.

At around 6.00am on 17th of November, 2011, the male attended the college on Mounts bay road, Crawley. He entered the bike shed via the front gate and once inside cut the padlock but not before browsing and taking his time to select an expensive mountain bike worth $600.

The bike is a Men’s Nexus Mountain Bike, silver and black in colour. It has yellow rims, stickers on the handlebar with name “Quicksilver” on it. It has a purple stand and one black pedal and one silver one.

Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

The male is described as:

  • Dark complexion
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black t-shirt, white board shorts with quicksilver writing down the left leg, black cap and barefoot
  • Carrying a set of bolt cutters.
