A driver of a vehicle is sought by Police after causing a horrifying accident in Muchea.
At about 10am on Tuesday the 27th of January 2015, a white Nissan Navara dual cab utility pulled out of a driveway on Great Northern Highway and into the path of an oncoming truck. This caused the truck to swerve and missed hitting the vehicle.
At the same time another vehicle was in the overtaking lane attempting to overtake the truck, and it had to swerve to miss getting hit by the truck. The vehicle spun and rolled in a field on the opposite side of the road and then caught fire. The female driver jumped out before the fire took hold and she received minor injuries.
The Nissan Navara then left the scene of the accident.
Police have released a CCTV image of the vehicle and the driver who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The Vehicle is described as:
- Nissan Narvara Dual cab utility with roll bars and bull bar.
