Police are seeking information from the public in relation to a young man who was reported missing on Monday 19 September 2011.

The 25 year old man, who has Downs Syndrome, went missing at about 3pm from Roscommon Road, Floreat. He was located at a service station at the intersection of Grand Promenade and Walter Road East, Dianella at about 11pm.

The man is described as 163cm tall, medium build, dark hair with a beard. The beard is more like a few weeks of growth than a trimmed beard. At the time he was wearing faded blue jeans, a faded red Telstra Rally baseball cap with a black peak, black T-shirt with AC/DC logo on the back and front and a faded black muscle shirt with white print across the chest. This clothing can be seen in the attached photograph. He was also wearing white, red and silver runners. It would be evident to anyone who spoke with the man that he had a disability as he responds to conversation in a stilted manner, using incomplete sentences.

Police are keen to track the young man’s movements while he was missing and want to hear from anyone who may have seen or spoken with him during that time.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote Reference Number 5697.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to establish the man’s (pictured) movements during the eight hour period he was missing.
