In January, 5,231 community-minded Western Australians contacted Crime Stoppers WA, either by reporting online or phoning with information they had relating to criminal activity or suspicious behaviour.
From the contacts made, 3,323 or 6/10 provided enough valuable information for their reports to be converted into police action or intelligence.
In 2016, WA was the highest ranked Australian state or territory, per capita, for the conversion of contacts into reports. The people of WA are making a powerful contribution.
The 1,267th caller’s tip helped identify the remains of 2-year-old Khandalyce Pearce, which were found in July 2015 near a suitcase along a highway in South Australia’s Murray Mallee.
It's never too late to make a report. Your information could lead to a crime being solved.
