At approximately 6.20pm on Monday 14 December 2015, a 23 year old woman was on a Perth bound train on the Midland line.  She was approached by a female, who leaned over and said, “Give me your bag.”

The victim ignored the female, unsure what she actually said. The female then grabbed the corners of the victim’s cardigan and repeated the demand for her handbag.

Out of fear for her safety, the victim handed over her handbag to the female.

Soon after this, the train arrived at East Guildford Train Station and the female quickly exited the train in company with another female and a male.

Police have released a CCTV image of a two females and a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The woman is described as:

  • Tan skinned
  • Dark hair
  • Black sunglasses
  • Wearing a black t-shirt, light blue denim jeans.

The second woman is described as:

  • Tan skinned
  • Dark hair
  • Brown head band
  • Wearing a black t-shirt with white motive, pink skirt, black thongs, tattoo on side of left leg

The man is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • Dark hair

Wearing a white tank top, dark denim shorts, white socks and white shoes.
